Dime Turquoise Feather Pen, Southwest Mesa Ballpoint with Pheasant Plumage, #0292

Turquoise feather pen that has a Southwestern Indian theme using pheasant plumage on a Mesa pen kit with an added dime coin center band.
The barrel of this pen is made entirely in the pensbykstrauss shop and consists of six vintage pheasant feathers, three on the top and three on the bottom. The quills are facing the center with an authentic 1967 dime coin ring. The dime coin ring was made to precisely fit the barrel diameter with the feathers on it.
The barrel is then cast in resin, turned and polished to a very high shine that will last a very long time.

Hardware on this pen is Antiqued Pewter with simulated turquoise accents in a weaved pattern. The top cap and bottom of this pen have a very detailed pewter with black backing and turquoise accents highlighted with an arrow pocket clip with a turquoise stone.
This pen is a twist action equipped with a Schmidt 9000 Easy Flow refill. Your choice of writing tips is available from the menu. If you want the ultimate writing ease and ink transfer pick the Schmidt, the black and blue are 9000 Easy flow refills that write more like a roller ball but are still in the ballpoint family. The Parker black is the standard refill that is also a very good normal writing tip. Use the menu for your preference.
