Fly Rod Fishing Pen in Underwater Scene with Fish Hooks and Feathers, #0196

A fly rod fishing ballpoint pen with a combination of fish hooks and fly feathers used in making fly baits. Fish hooks are applied to an underwater scene, cast in clear acrylic resin, turned and polished to a glass finish. This pen blank was made entirely in the pensbykstrauss shop from a basic pen kit with the added feathers and hooks that went through different processes and machines.
Hardware on this pen is Antiqued Pewter plating with very fancy scroll work. The top has a fish on a line, and the bottom shows the fisherman with the rod. A fly rod as a pocket clip has a fish line connected to the fish.

This pen comes equipped with a German made Schmidt 9000 easy flow writer with black ink and medium point. This is probably in my opinion one of the best writing refills available and still staying in the ballpoint glass without jumping up to the roller balls. A regular Parker refill also fits this pen. Your choice of writing tips is available from the menu. If you want the ultimate writing ease and ink transfer pick the Schmidt, the black and blue are 9000 Easy flow refills that write more like a roller ball but are still in the ballpoint family. The Parker black is the standard refill that is also a very good normal writing tip. Use the menu for your preference.
This is a beefy pen that is 5.25" long, .061" at the widest part and a weight of 1.6 oz.
