High End Segmented Wood Pen, Celtic Knot Herringbone 360, Metal Rings, #0290

A Celtic design wood pen with a segmented herringbone 360 degree pattern consisting of 90 pieces of wood and metal glued together to make the main body. The pen is then cut in half four times to insert the Redheart and metal Celtic knots. The pen blank is then turned down to finished size, sanded and finished with 14 coats of CA or (cyanoacrylate). The CA process on this pen is a very durable, high shine, long lasting clear finish.
The woods used are Ebony, Redheart, Birch, and Holly. The Celtic knots are Redheart laminated in between two pieces of thin metal.

The pen features intricate Celtic knot scroll work on the tip, clip and end as well as an emerald color cabochon. The Celtic knot motif dates back to 5th century and represents the truth of eternity and interconnected spirit.
This pen comes equipped with a German made Schmidt 9000 easy flow writer with black ink and medium point. This is probably in my opinion one of the best writing refills available and still staying in the ballpoint glass without jumping up to the roller balls. A regular Parker refill also fits this pen. Your choice of writing tips is available from the menu. If you want the ultimate writing ease and ink transfer pick the Schmidt, the black and blue are 9000 Easy flow refills that write more like a roller ball but are still in the ballpoint family. The Parker black is the standard refill that is also a very good normal writing tip. Use the menu for your preference.
