Black Walnut Burl and White Acrylic Combination Ballpoint Pen #0148

A Black Walnut burl ballpoint pen that was made out of a knot hole that was filled with white acrylic resin. The resin was forced into all the cracks and hollow voids resulting in some very interesting patterns and colors. This is a very unusual but attractive looking pen with all the different colors of brown, dark brown and even some areas of black with a very contrasting white filler. This pen blank was completely made in the pensbykstrauss shop with vacuum and pressure equipment.
Hardware on this pen is Black Titanium and Gold Titanium plating with the Majestic Squire design style and detailing.
Highlights of this pen are the embossed top gold cap, a narrowing drop pocket clip with clear crystal and lower center band with Majestic design.
This is a twist action pen that has a Schmidt 9000 Easy Flow writer. It will also accept a standard Parker, or Parker Gel refill.
Pen is 5 1/4" long and 1/2" wide, weighing about 1 1/2 ounce.
Pen ships in a black velour hinged gift box with refill instructions. This would make a perfect birthday gift for any office worker or office boss.
